Redevelopment of a building plot in the Malvern Hills.
The aim of this project was to clear an existing stone wall and associated debris to enable us to re-profile a steep slope and prepare the ground for soil nailing ready to accommodate a new larger dwelling.
5m soil nails were installed in the upper section of the newly formed 70° slope, then reducing the length to 3m on the lower section. Netlon STR7005 6mm mesh was placed over the slope and then a 4mm triple coated galvanised re-enforcement mesh. The preferred plant used on this project was a 6t excavator and our state of the art rotary percussive Marini Drilling Mast attachment.
